Well, I’m still alive and made it to Guyana relatively in one piece. Because of the lack of reliable internet, I haven’t been able to update as much as I would like. I finally arrived that first night at 4:30 am with only my carry on luggage. 4 days later, my checked luggage showed up with nothing missing.
Since then, I have really had an experience. I saw Kaieteur Falls, the highest single drop waterfall a few days ago and have been recovering ever since. Besides that, I have been one numerous live broadcasts of local and national dance and music acts. While I have tried to keep to the audio side of things, I also ran camera a few times.
I’m really missing home — the food, the people, and the air conditioning — and can’t wait to leave. Thus far, I have enjoyed my trip, but I love the United States.
